In a couple short weeks I'll be off to Florida and spending my reading week at Disney World and Universal Studios, and couldn't be more excited! This will be my fourth time at the parks, and I've come up with a list of reasons why you should visit "The Happiest Place on Earth" before you settle down. If you haven't gone yet, make it your next vacation. You won't regret it!
Here's my top five...
1. Bring out your inner child
If you were deprived of Disney movies as a child, I feel sorry for you. Disney movies taught me everything I need to know about life, love, and age old morals. Being at the park is an entirely overwhelming experience that brings you back to your childhood and makes you forget about anything and everything adulthood slams you with.
2. You have no children with you
If you're going with your friends or partner, being a couple without children really does have its perks. Sure, the parks are made to bring out magic in children and are geared towards families- but going sans kids means less bathroom breaks, meal breaks, whining in lines, crankiness or temper tantrums to deal with. :)
3. You get to skip lines
Kind of going along with number 2, when you are solo or with a partner you will be able to take advantage of line skipping. Because most people in the park are families with children or groups of 4+, there are empty spots on rides for parties of two. So when you're 20 people back in line, they will usually call you up to ride so they can fill the empty spots quickly!
4. You get to see and appreciate everything that goes into the park
From the effort of the engineers, (or "imagineers") to the employees, to the architecture, the work put into Disney World is indescribable. Only adults can appreciate the mass amount of time and effort put into making the name " The Happiest Place on Earth" stand true.
5. De-stress and get away!
Every vacation is time away from the stresses of home, work, school, etc. But Disney World really makes the throbbing thoughts go away. Even just for the duration of your stay, the park really takes excitement to a whole new level. Even if you think you're too old or too mature for Disney World, its a guilty pleasure for everyone. Let's be honest.
Those are my top five reasons why you should visit Disney World before you settle down. I'm sure I could come up with a lot more if I had time! What are your favorite spots in Disney?
